We are seeking Civil Site, Project and Senior Project Engineers.
The roles encompass surface works including earthworks, structures, roads and utility services. The successful incumbent will be required to develop and implement procedures to achieve quality, safety, timely production and compliance with budgets. They will develop construction methods and procure resources suitable for achievement of the project programme.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Liaison with project designers to ensure constructability of the works;

Development of construction methods;

Preparation and monitoring of the project target programme;

Record productivity of works in progress and forecasting final cost;

Prepare project cost reports and final cost forecasts;

Supervision and administration of subcontracted works;

Technical procurement and expediting, including subcontractor selection;

Provide technical support to non-technical members of the construction team
Essential qualifications/skills required:
-
Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering admitting to corporate membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia;

Minimum 3 years postgraduate construction project experience in a similar role;

Ability to prioritise tasks and manage assignments to meet agreed deliveries;

Experience of site engineering with a construction contracting firm on projects involving piling, reinforced concrete, earthworks and excavations;

Ability to work under pressure in a complex role;

Demonstrated skills in programming, cost control, quality assurance and safety;

Competence in interpreting technical schedules and documentation;
-
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people at all levels.
