As a result of our ongoing commitment to safety and continuous improvement in this area we are looking for a National Manager – Safety Systems & Compliance to join the national safety team. We are looking for an experienced safety professional to review, identify and execute improvements in our Safety Management System and ensure it is simplified; user centred and meets the diverse needs of our business. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage and work with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external), and have demonstrated experience in managing and integrating certification and accreditation requirements.

We are looking for an experienced, driven self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. Your strong background in safety systems and compliance will enable you to review and enhance our Safety Management System to positively impact performance and culture. Communication is essential to the success of this role and will require strong relationships to be developed with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. A strong understanding of efficient and robust safety systems andthe ability to effectively communicate technical process and detail will be critical to the success of this position.

We would like to hear from tertiary qualified safety professionals with a minimum of 10 years safety systems management experience. A background in multi business unit projects and change management will place you in good stead for this position.
