We are currently looking to employ a National Coordinator – Safety Programs to work within our Group Safety team, located at our Corporate Head Office, in Abbotsford.

Reporting to the National Manager - Safety Programs, your primary purpose will be to support and lead the successful delivery of key group wide safety initiatives as well as ad hoc activities as requested of the Group Safety Team

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the timely completion of activities using a professional and business-focused approach which includes appropriate planning, implementation practices, effective communication and change management methodologies
• Support the planning, implementation and embedment of key strategic safety initiatives
• Ensure that key safety communication channels are reviewed regularly to ensure information is up to date and key audiences receive relevant information
• Support (and lead where appropriate) the planning and development of key learning and development programs that support key strategic safety initiatives

This role relies on your strong project management skills and your ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels. It requires the incumbent to be able to think strategically and innovatively in the search for more effective ways to manage Safety culture, and develop appropriate strategies for its effective implementation throughout the business.

To be considered for this role you will have Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or Learning and Development, and a minimum of 2 years'  experience in an autonomous project management role.
